Web6 Oct 2024 · What is pipeline partitioning in Informatica? A partition is a pipeline stage that executes in a single reader, transformation, or writer thread. The number of partitions in any pipeline stage equals the number of threads in the stage. By default, the Integration Service creates one partition in every pipeline stage. WebPartitioning in informatica is a method which is similar to multi threaded approach. As Task gets splitted into mulitple sub chunks and they run parallel. Informatica has different partitioning schemes such asRound Robin,Key Range,Hash Key,Database Partitioning,Pass Through partition schemes.
